"Shifu" is an ongoing Chinese-English documentary series produced by Shenzhen Daily that highlights Shenzhen's intangible cultural heritage legacies. Divided into four episodes, “Shifu” introduces four iconic items of local intangible cultural heritage, capturing the essence and wisdom passed down through generations in this young and modern metropolis. Behind-the-scenes footage of the first episode is now available for viewing on Shenzhen Daily's WeChat video platform.

In response to the typhoon, the city's public transportation was halted at 7 p.m. The suspension left four Pakistani tourists stranded near the Meidu Community in Futian District. After receiving messages asking for help, the community staff members placed the tourists in a hotel to shelter from the typhoon.
